Peanut Butter Chocolate Protein Smoothie

Packed with nutrients, this recipe was made especially for women wanting to boost their breast milk. I make this smoothie post workout as it helps boost my protein intake and gets all the nutrients in me that I need as a mom to my 1 year old. The delicious blend of chocolate and peanut butter will keep you wanting more while the oats and spinach provide a great source of fiber, iron, assorted vitamins and antioxidants that don’t affect the taste whatsoever. Feel free to include any nuts or seeds (pumpkin seeds can help with hair loss!) of your choice to add even more nutrients to this power packed and delicious smoothie!

Ingredients:

  • 6 ice cubes

  • 1 cup milk of choice

  • 1/4 cup chocolate protein powder (or suggested scoop amount on label per cup of liquid)

  • 8-10 spinach leaves, kale or power greens

  • 1 Tbsp. peanut butter

  • 2 Tbsp. oats

  • 1/2 or whole banana ( can substitute with 1/4 avocado)

  • dash of cinnamon

Blend till smooth

makes 2-3 cups / 2 servings
